I always ask clients whether there is something of interest (hence the name pin + interest) that they have seen in a magazine, brochures or even from the web and the results are heaped scrap books containing ripped pages from magazines and little sketches. This is a great starting point for understanding what the client wants and with the power of the internet and a few clicks, you can create your own online scrap book containing images, ideas, thoughts, kitchen designs (which is very popular!) and pin these to your imaginary board.
